In Aug. of 2007, I joined Jo Houston & Company Real Estate and Development, after realizing that this was the company that would allow me to reach my goals in real estate. Everyone here has a strong belief in helping people and a love for animals, so I fit right in.

I grew up in north GA and moved to the upstate of SC in 1989. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent, I worked as a veterinary technician for 18 years. I have always had a love of the land and a strong bond with animals. My specialties are working with farms and land, and helping people that have animals find the appropriate home. I am companionate about family farms remaining farms, but I also understand the importance of highest and best use for land and helping someone get the most out of their property.

I am licensed in South Carolina and Georgia. I have gained knowledge and experience with land sales and managing farms from my father, Hubert Bailey, as well as how to negotiate and put a deal together – even the difficult ones. My organizations in real estate include the National, South Carolina and Georgia Associations of REALTORS. I am also a member of the RLI (Realtors Land Institute) on the National level, as well as the South Carolina and Georgia Association. I am also working on the highly accomplished “Accredited Land Consultant” designation.

Having worked with people from all over the United States, I have a large contact list that enables me to make referrals. I can help with your (or a friend or family member’s) real estate needs, anywhere in the US. My husband, Jon, and I live on a farm in Townville. We train Border Collies for herding in our spare time. We also enjoy our other dogs, cats, sheep, Brangus Cattle, chickens, ducks, and lizards.
